A Crass Commercial Announcement
Here’s my next project – three musicals in one night!
Broadway: Three Generations is presented by the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in celebration of the grand re-opening of the Eisenhower Stage. It’s a compilation of three shows, representative of three generations of the Broadway Musical: Girl Crazy, Bye Bye Birdie and Side Show. The shows are presented in abridged versions, with Shirley Jones providing narration.
You’ll spot me in the ensemble in various oddball roles: a grouchy (and slightly sadistic) chaperone in Girl Crazy, a confused traveler and a no-nonsense makeup artist in Bye Bye Birdie, and a carny with attitude in Side Show.
There are only five performances of this one-of-a-kind production, so visit the The Kennedy Center website to get your tickets.
