Crass Commercial Announcements…
Current and upcoming projects: Assassins at Signature Theatre in Arlington, Virginia, which is not even “officially” open yet but has already been extended to July 23rd, and Sirens of Song: DC’s Leading Ladies, a one-nighter at the Round House in Silver Spring, Maryland.
Assassins is directed by Joe Calarco, recent winner of the Helen Hayes Award for Outstanding Direction of a Musical (for Signature’s 2005 production of Urinetown). Music Director is Jon Kalbfleisch, who has been music director for all Signature’s past Sondheim productions. Choreographer is Karma Camp (also a recent Helen Hayes Award winner, for her choreography for Urinetown). Set Design by James Kronzer, Lighting Design by Chris Lee, Sound Design by Tony Angelini, Costume Design by Anne Kennedy.

Sirens of Song: DC’s Leading Ladies will be presented one night only (Monday, June 19th) at the House of Round’s Silver Spring facility at 7:30 p.m. The evening features Bev Cosham, Sherri L. Edelen, Jane Pesci-Townsend, Judy Simmons and me, each performing three songs of our choice (I’m taking suggestions for mine). For more info, go to Round House’s website: Round House
